There has been talk recently on the Facebook group about how to transport EpiPens. For us, it is more than just transporting the EpiPens. I also have a few other things that I keep with Tyler at all times.
- Two EpiPens. Since one Epi may not work or may not be sufficient, we always have two with us.
- Two packs of "Benadryl Perfect Mesuare." Each packet has one teaspoon in it. (If you can't find these at a drug store near you, Amazon carries them here
and here
.)
- A trial pack of Wet Ones. Generally, I have a larger bag of wipes in my purse for my little one that is still in diapers. But having this package with the Epi's ensures that we always something for Tyler to wipe his hands of possible peanut residue no matter what the circumstances.
There are many ways you can transport your Epi's. Amazon carries some really cute packs made just for transporting them. Here are a couple of them:
This one will attach to a belt, purse, or backpack:
This one holds your Epi's and an asthma inhaler:

I'd love to hear from others about you transport your EpiPens!

Hi Robyn. We ordered the leg buddy from Omax and my little one wears it on his leg/ankle. We have room for two epipens and two prefect measure benedryl packs. :-)

Our 8 year old son wears a little red Jansport backpack. He has a laminated medical id bag tag (with his info and my cell number) attached. Inside he has the usual suspects... epi's, prednisone, benedryl, wetwipes, lego star wars figures, gumy bears etc. I'm definitely going to check into those adorable holders! Thanks!
We keep all of Tobi's supplies in a small fanny pack.. It has epi pens, benedryl, wet wipes, his inhaler and some gummy bears..
